Please read this agreement carefully as it governs your use of the socialcoffeecompany.com website and all content, services, and products available at or through the website.  It exempts Social Coffee & Tea Company and other persons from liability or limits their liability, and contains other important provisions that you should read.

As the terms of this Agreement may be modified at Social Coffee & Tea Company’s sole discretion, we advise that from time to time you check this webpage to review the changes. Your continued use of this webpage shall constitute your consent to any changes.


All prices are in Canadian dollars. We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal for orders placed online.

Shipping Policy

Social endeavours to send out the finest and freshest coffee possible. We ship all product within 1-3 days of roast date. To ensure you serve only fresh coffee, we suggest purchasing 2-3 weeks’ volume per order.

We ship daily, Monday-Friday, except holidays. Orders received by 12:00 a.m. midnight EST Sunday-Thursday are shipped the following day. Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays  are shipped the following Monday. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

We ship via Canada Post Expedited and UPS. Social does not guarantee the arrival time of the package. Once we hand over the package to shippers, it is their responsibility. We can, however, assist you to track your package and help ensure that you receive it. Below are estimated timelines provided by Canada Post.


We do our utmost to bring you the highest quality products, but if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 30 days to request a full refund. To return unsatisfactory goods, contact us via sales@socialcoffeecompany.com or at 1-866-515-5033 with your name, order number, products ordered, what you wish to return and the reason for the return. We will reply via email with a Return Authorization number and instructions on how to send the items back to us.

Sales Tax (Canada)

There is no sales tax charged on coffee and tea purchases shipped within Canada.

For coffee makers and other non-coffee merchandise, the following taxes apply in the respective provinces:

New Brunswich 13% HST
Newfoundland & Labrador 13% GST
Northwest Territories  5%
Nova Scotia 15% HST
Nunavut 5%
Ontario 13% HST

Yukon Territory 5% GST

International Customers

We do not charge sale tax for any items shipped to addresses outside of Canada, however, your country may apply customs/import duty. You are responsible for any duties, tariffs, taxes or customs brokerage fees. These amounts must be paid at the time of delivery.  We are not responsible for these charges and cannot provide estimates as to what they may be. You may wish to contact your local customs office for further information. If for any reason the package is seized by customs officials, we will not issue you a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. If the package is returned to us by customs officials or delivery is otherwise unsuccessful, shipping charges are not refundable. Additional shipping charges will apply if we need to reship a package that is returned to us due to delivery problems.

Personal Information Privacy

Social Coffee & Tea Company collects, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By accepting this Agreement, and each time you use the Website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by Social Coffee & Tea Company in accordance with the Privacy Policy as it then reads.

Customer Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your customer account on this webpage. You agree that you are liable for purchases made through your socialcoffeecompany.com Account and assume responsibility for taking reasonable action to safeguard your account information to prevent unauthorized purchases. You further agree to notify Social Coffee & Tea Company promptly should you become aware of any actual or potential compromise of your Account information so that Social Coffee & Tea Company may take appropriate actions to safeguard Social Coffee & Tea Company’s legal interests. Should any charges or damages occur due to your not taking reasonable care of your customer account or password, you agree that you will be held solely responsible.

Orders and Payments

When you submit an order on this webpage, your order shall be considered as an offer to Social Coffee & Tea Company.  Social Coffee & Tea Company reserves the right to refuse your order at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to: (i) the availability of the products in your area (Social Coffee & Tea Company specifically reserves the right to revise or cease to make available any of its products at any time); and (ii) if the products are incorrectly described or priced on the webpage. In the event that your order is cancelled or refused, you shall receive an email confirmation. Additionally, if your order is refused or cancelled following payment, Social Coffee & Tea Company will reimburse you for the full amount paid.

The third party credit card service provider must approve all purchases made through the use of a credit card.

Social Coffee & Tea Company may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Website. Social Coffee & Tea Company may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate this Agreement or your socalcoffeecompay.com account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the Website. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Limitation of Liability

This limitation is an essential element of the agreement between Social Coffee & Tea Company and you.


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Social Coffee & Tea Company, its officers, directors, employees or agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Website, including but not limited to the breach of any provisions of this Agreement.
